Urbanscapes 2012

I can't wait for the coming weekend because it's urbanscapes 2012. As an event student, i have always been told to get more involve in different events but I never really do anything. At least I am trying! Been wanting to go for this event since last year but couldn't make it. Now it's finally near. This year's line up is super awesome. I can't wait for Yuna and Sigor Ros. I think I am going to cry when I see Sigur Ros. 

For those that doesn't know what is urbanscapes go check it out at Urbanscapes! The schedule seems pretty pack. Need to decide on which stage at what time before that day to avoid chaos. Another reason why I am so excited is because of the vendors. The clothing, accessories and food vendors are quite attractive for people like me that cannot resist temptation. Can't wait to indulge myself in the 2 days creative arts festival.

One thing I find Urbanscapes is really thoughtful is that they even arrange free shuttles at a few stops. Mainly is due to the lack of parking space at the venue as it is at Padang Astaka. This is really convenient because the venue can also be quite far for most people.

Casual day out

The event is finally over. Overall, it was quite success but I'm not gonna write about it until I get all the pictures. Really thankful for all the people that came to support, especially my girls that were stuck in the jam for 2 and a half hours and got lost on the way but still manage to make it. It really mean a lot for me! Thank you. <3

Gonna get back to the topic. This post is about a casual day out with a good friend. I like how we still manage to catch up on life when the both of us are really busy all the time. We went to Publika for a long talk and some food-hunting. Went straight to The Bee since we are more familiar with it. Wanted to have their burger but it's brunch time and they doesn't have burgers at that moment. Should have tried some new places!

Half & Half. It is actually just Ice lemon Tea to me. 

Eggs benedict- Forever my choice for brunch. 

 Then we went to hunt for some desserts. You know, girls can never resist desserts. We actually wanted to buy junks in Ben's Independent Grocer but we got distracted by this cute little dessert shop or sandwich bar. It's called B'Wiched inside the grocer store. I chose Macadamia Brownies and my friend picked Rose Macaroon. Couldn't remember the full name. It's with raspberries inside. We bought macaroons too. :D

Also walked around Publika and found this really nice shop called Kaleidoscope - a lifestyle store. There were so many things to look for inside. From stationaries, crafts, clothes, accessories to skincare. I can literally spend hours inside. Got myself a really cute journal and a Lavender body scrub.

It's this FRIDAYYYY!

Was planning for this event for 2 whole semester and it's finally near. Feeling so excited and nervous at the same time. Hope everything goes on well. It's one of the project I've work so hard for and I hope the outcome is really good. Went through so many good and bad times that I almost wanted to give up. Planning for an event can be really stressful. Went through so many breakdowns but lucky for me, I have some good friends along the way that are really supportive and inspiring. They definitely   inspire me to have more passion for this industry. 

From planning stage to audition and now to the finals! I definitely learnt a lot.

Tricks or Treats

In October, one of the most happening festival has got to be HALLOWEEN besides Oktoberfest. Halloween has always been one of my favorite as it is an excuse for me to play dress-up and also go for something I would not try normally. I always wanted to try different style but I always ended up in my everyday typical look. One of the videos my friend show me lately kinda make me feel the urge for a change. This actually does not suit into the Halloween theme but it is something I would like to try. 

How to look like a k-pop star? 

I have never been a great fans of k-pop but the fashion style and make up is really good. I also wonder why does all Korean girls have flawless skin. I super envy their flawless skin because I have been struggling with skin problems for years. 

p/s: I am also not a hater.

희망 (Hee Mang) Hope

Annyeonghaseyo to all Korean Lovers out there! Have a thing for K-Pop and an urge to do gangnam-style dance every time you heard the song played? 

One of the project I've been working on - 희망 (Hee Mang) Hope! This is a charity-based event, so all the funds raise from this event will be donated to children from Rumah Hope. 

The event will be held on 9th November 2012 at Sunway Lagoon Club. There will be 10 teams of participants competing to win the great prizes. There will be individual participants and also group participants. Get ready for some k-style performances. International buffet including some awesome Korean food will be served on that day. Besides that, London Boys will be performing on that day! Yes! The London Boys! Why London Boys at a Korean theme event? The London Boys can even sing oppa-gangnam.

There will also be exhibition going on that day! Want to experience the Korean culture without flying all the way there? Complete with the latest K-Wave, K-Fashion, K-Crafts and other Korean related culture, this exhibition is your only chance!

A Fresh Start

I have been wanting to do this for a long time but i didn't really have the inspiration nor time. I am getting really bored of everything that happens around me and I think it's time for a fresh start. Being an event student, I should be more active in my social life and I guess a blog could be the answer to everything.
